The importance of action

Nike summed it up best, Just Do It. The perfect slogan that has been with us for generations. In business we get caught up with hesitation, uncertainty and angst. These create negative emotions that can really hold you back when it comes to implementing an idea, chasing that new client or market testing a new product. 

People who are successful in business are 'doers'. They make it happen. As Nelson Mandella once said "it always seems impossible, until it's done". It is so true. If you are in business you need to be able to take the hits but also celebrate successes. You need to enjoy the process. If you are not enjoying the process of business, no matter what stage you are at (start up to fully established), you need to assess if it is the right thing for you and your life. It is also worth accepting the fact that if you are building something amazing, that isn't it going to be difficult?!

Less thinking, pondering, wishing - more doing. If you haven't got your idea 100% perfect, it does not matter. You can get it to where you want it to be along the way, just get it going. Build it block by block and move forward each day. Action is what is going to get you to your goal. We used to have a hard time asking for something from a potential client. Selling is what we (as a business) find difficult. But the simple fact is, if you do not ask, you will not get. Solve problems for your clients and give value, this is what will help you. 

This probably felt more like a rant than anything, but the point we are making is, without action the results won't happen. Put in the work, reach out to one more person and watch the result. After all, if you turn over enough rocks, you are bound to find a spider - right??! Ok enough with the inspo quotes - It's Saturday and we are working, what are you up to? Go take some action.
